This summer, Arctic Guide Service starts using an EB80 electric minibus for their shuttle service from Fredvang to Torsfjorden, a starting point for hiking trips.
Mayor Trond Kroken hopes that the electric shuttle service will mean fewer people decide to use their cars.
The charging station at Fredvang means that the EB80 is the perfect solution for a zero-emission shuttle service.
“We feel that we have put in place good solutions for parking at the school at Fredvang for those who are going to Kvalvika and Ryten. At Fredvang there is also a charging station. The shuttle bus is also a very good alternative.”
